printing a page

Perhaps this is forbidden or maybe I'm just not doing it right.  I sometimes come across some comments in a forum that i would like to save for future reference and so I attempt to save/print the page as a pdf.  What I end up with is the background color but no printed words.  Currently I am using an Android tablet.  Can anyone advise?  Thank you.

I just did it so I don't think it's a characteristic of the site but rather your setup. Maybe someone who uses an Android device can offer specific suggestions.
