Greetings Earth Lovers and Rocket Scientists,
Thank you for contacting us about the upcoming Earth rocket stove workshop, May 13 through 15, 2011 at Twin Brooks Farm. We look forward to hosting cob researchers and Earth Stove experts, instructors Ernie and Erica Wisner of Portland OR. Twin Brooks Farm is located half-way between Seattle and Portland, in the foothills of the Beautiful Cascade Mountains.
What This Workshop is About?
rocket mass heaters are super-efficient wood-burning devices, site-built from reclaimed and earthen materials.  They operate on some of the same principles as masonry heaters, Rocket cook stoves, and incinerators.
Ernie and Erica are a fantastic hands-on education team, balancing learning and fun, live demonstrations and explanations, theory and practice. With their guidance, we will explore things that make these heaters work, and build the core of a rocket mass heater together so you can experience every detail from the ground up until it actually works.
