A meeting will be held Wednesday, March 16th at 7:00 PM at the Republic Computer Center to see if there is enough local interest to form some sort of guild or club.

Seeking local folk who are interested in permaculture, forest farming, sustainable agriculture, organic gardening, plant and/or seed exchange, wild crafting and environmentally sound self sufficiency.

How did it go?

Just a bit too far for me.

Not a single person attended. I initiated this at the request of two of our local residents who proclaimed a strong interest in forming a club. They chose the time and the location. I made up flyers, paid for a TV ad, made sure the local extension office was informed. So it wasn't for a lack of awareness.

This is a really interesting area, with some truly eccentric personalities. There are some super independent people here and that may be one of the factors. Don't know.

I'm disappointed but oh well, I tried!

I'd appreciate it if you pronounced my name correctly. Pinhead, with a silent "H". Petite ad:
