We're excited to announce the release of the Making Small Farms Work Online Training.

We have a fully self-led training available from 20th Nov 2017, and a full scheduled training with Richard over 13 weeks from mid-Jan until Apr 2018.  All info here http://www.ridgedalepermaculture.com/online-training.html

Who is this training for?

This training came about for several reasons.  We have had a whole bunch of requests from people who cannot make it to Ridgedale for one of our courses.  With all the requests Richard gets for mentorship, we also see that we can be far more beneficial working with people over a longer time frame in this manner, especially as there is more time to digest the material and resources that we can offer.  Another great benefit is the peer support formed around scheduled groups on the same training (full training); people to bounce ideas and strategies with, as well as share inspiration, challenges and successes.

This training format will not suit everyone, and requires you to do a lot of detailed planning work which you then upload for feedback and peer support.  It's a training to empower doer's to get started on the right foot, hopefully saving you a lot of time and money by learning from Richards intensive experience as a property designer, pioneering educator and full-time successful farmer.  We are here to support those stepping up and dedicating themselves to a career in farming.  You need to make the commitment to invest the time and energy to get the most from this training.  It is suited to people;

-Starting a small diverse farm sharing some similarities to ours
-Who have land and want to design and implement regenerative agricultural enterprises
-Homesteaders wanting to develop their design and scale up production from a homestead to bring in income
-Existing farmers looking to develop their design and enterprises
-Designers looking to widen their scope and insight
