Documentary Kickstarter “Grow Food” has
the answer to climate change, hunger, and degenerative diseases
Using Regenerative Agriculture principles you can help reverse climate change in your backyard.
New Documentary Film Grow Food (www.growfoodfilm.com), created by Joe Rignola and Jessica Smith describes exactly how growing good food can solve problems such as climate change, urban food deserts, lack of purpose, and our current health crisis. Unlike other solutions, this is something that everyone can do right now. Filmmaker Joe Rignola states “This isn’t just a film, it’s a call to action.” Grow Food will be released
online March 2018. You can sign up on kickstarter or to their email list to get access to the film when it launches.
In many documentaries you are compelled, but the story ends when the film ends and you walk away thinking “what can I do?” Not this documentary. Through the stories of Patty, Doug, Jim and all-star Will Allen you can learn how to be a part of the solution. Leaders like Dan Kittredge describe the importance of and urgency of this message. The creators are also providing additional amazing resources to support you on your #igrowfood journey so when the feeling of “what now?” arises, the solution is easily accessible.
The first viewing of the documentary will be absolutely free, however, kickstarter backers will get amazing rewards like social media shout-outs, pre-release viewing, beautiful organic cotton T-Shirts with “#igrowfood” on the front, and complete access to the Nourishing Backyard Garden Formula so you can start a garden that grows the absolute best food.
You even have the opportunity to be in the film! Interested in being a producer? The creators are offering Associate and Executive Producer credits as well.
The king of all backers limited to only 20 people get a private screening where you can meet the filmmakers and enjoy an incredible dinner!
Following Jessica’s journey from growing up on her grandpa’s farm, to studying living soils, and becoming a certified nutritional therapy practitioner, she has tied it all together. Jessica is connecting the dots from the health of our soil to the health of the human, us. If the minerals aren’t present in the soil then they aren’t present in the animals or vegetables that we eat. If they aren’t present in our food then we as human consumers are not getting them.
Studies from August Dunning have shown significant nutritional decline from 1940s to 1990s.
“There is a solution to climate change. There is a solution to
water pollution. There is a solution to urban food deserts. There is a solution to our nation's health crisis. That solution is growing food.” Jessica Smith
