Commercial sewing machine motor with clutch

I have just come into this unit. It weighs about 35 lb and I've been told that it works. I have no use for a sewing machine motor, so I intend to sell it. I'm hoping that someone here needs one or knows someone who needs one one.

R ranson check this out. I wonder if this could work for any of the people in your circle. I am in Victoria British Columbia. If anyone knows more about this sort of motor or other things that might be good for, let me know. I suppose if it doesn't sell to someone who needs it for a sewing machine, I will try to find some other use for it.

My friends sister-in-law's husband does a lot of Leather & Saddle work. I'm thinking this motor must be for something large like that.

Hello Dale, i am from the Netherlands and am looking for a motor like you have (had) is it still there and what does it say on the tag..120 Volts 400 watt and 1720 rpm?
If yes what is the price?

Just saw this now. I'm pretty sure I still have it, because I don't recall doing anything with it. My storage is an absolute mess , but I must clean it up because they are redeveloping it for commercial purposes. When I find it I will let you know. It will be $50. I'm sure it's worth hundreds. The way to do this would have been through private message but here we are oh, I've done it too. I guess it's good for everybody to know that things do sell. I have sold two things from an old house I'm working on as I eat my supper.

An old lady at a coffee shop asked me why I'm always on that phone. I told her, this is my conduit to money. Almost all money that comes my way, comes through the phone.

Hi Dale, did i tell you that i am from the Netherlands. I am a metalshaper and I designed a machine that holds a Sewing machine motor.

Last year I shipped a machine to Trick Tools in Pella Iowa as a sample...The only problem is that the machine has a 230 volt motor...NS 414 400 watt.

Your motor is the same only 110 volt so i could replace the 230 v motor to run the machine...

First I have to find the motor. I will be rooting through my storage over the next couple weeks. I have piled one thing on top of another on top of another.

We will do it through email transfer, if I manage to find it, and it turns out to be what you need. The best way for us to communicate is through the private messages on this site. They call it purple moossages.
