Does anyone know if  the Purple Robe-Black Locust is true to seed? (Robinia pseudoacacia)  If it's not true to seed does it take to being propagated via cuttings?

Thank You

Scott

hello! i tried air layering with no results. Recently i've planted some seeds and just one germinated. My Pseudoacacia robinia tree doesn't produce so much prickles and this is the reason i would like to propagate.
