Hi all - My husband and I just bought 9 acres outside of Missoula that we'll be turning into a little homestead. We're going to be doing a lot of exciting stuff, including building a straw bale house, putting in a garden/orchard, animals, etc., and started a blog to document it: http://homeinthestraw.wordpress.com/

Although this forum is a great place to get information about what people are doing around Missoula, I'm wondering if there are any other homestead/farmer bloggers out there.

The blog is looking good. I look forward to seeing your progress.

Here is a blog my wife and I started a few weeks ago.  I hope you enjoy.

Your blog looks great too! Can't wait to see how the quarry shapes up.

Chris has 3 apples and Monika has 4 apples. With this tiny ad they can finally make a pie!
