Anyone want to come to France?

I have two friends, each seperate from the other, who would like to find environmentally aware people to help then run their little homesteads. It is NOT a dating opportunity  . They don't want any rent, just someone to help around the place on a longer term basis (not just two weeks).

Hmmm doesn't seem to be so great for us.  We're HelpX hosts and in 4 months we've had just one enquiry.  We get lots of WWOOFers though. 

One of the people I was talking about is going to become a WWOOF host but she wanted something more than the 2 or 3 weeks that most WWOOFers/HelpX folk seem to want - someone more long term. 

And the other guy is so disorganised that I don't think he'd be able to co-ordinate HelpX nor WWOOF - he needs someone to get his wonderful watermill property up to full (or even part) potential.

Ah.... Okay, we're hosts here too and have had a dozen or so helpers over the past couple of years and quite a few enquiries that we have to turn down.  I send out quite a few invitations too.....

Our longest stay was only 6 weeks and our shortest 10 days - so I guess perhaps not the place to find a long term person.  However of the dozen or more we've had, I would say there would only be a hand-ful who we'd want around the place long term.  And it is SO hard to predict before they arrive, which ones are which!

I'm not sure what the best way to find a compatible long term helper would be.....

I am actually looking for a long-term position. However I would need help acquiring a Visa. Are they able to assist in Visa acquisition?

I'm interested in finding a more long term place in either France or Spain. But obviously it's difficult to commit to something before meeting the people or seeing the place! So perhaps start with a few weeks and then see how it goes?
I'm currently working towards my Diploma accreditation so I need a lot of practical experience!
Is it possible to communicate directly with these people rather than here on the Forum?

Hi I was wondering if you still had any work at your farm, I havn't done this kind of thing before but i love to cook and im very keen to learn some horticultural skills and languages. I am a cheerful and motivated person that likes to be kept busy, and will do any task given to the standards expected. I will work any hours need and am always happy to help my peers whenever possible to ensure the smooth running of the business. I find that I get on with well with most people and hope to make some good friends on my travels. I will be looking to stay for 5-6 months.
