I live in Ky.this gets three feet tall with large hollow stem.  My goat loves it. thought maybe wild lettuce but really unsure and need help identifying this. thanks a bunch!

If wild lettuce is growing in full sun, the leaves turn to face the sun as it moves across the sky. Does it do that?

Yes it has milky sap that gets sticky as it dries. I havnt observed if it follows the sun. It actually gets up to 6 ft. so far. No flowers yet. Thanks everyone for the help with this plant.

More specifically - Prickly lettuce (Lactuca serriola).  Apparently, the milky sap is a very mild analgesic, if you can collect enough of it....

It's a common garden weed out West, too.
