Hi , I'm Turner Sousley. I'm from the KC metro area , I'm Jewish , I graduated from a Jewish day school. I am a college drop out but I did study sustainable ag , which lead me to permaculture. My dad grew up in a small town in mid Missouri ( he converted to Judaism) and he and my uncle own a 120 acre farm where my grandma lives. I'd like to convert the farm into a permaculture homestead/ working farm business. Joel Salatin / Greg Judy style mob grazing cattle, sheep, chickens , ducks ,turkeys etc. Silvio pasture orchards and food forests and market gardens . Lots of plans for the place. Currently I live with my parents and (23 year old) brother (who will be going back to school for a year for his master's in art) with my mom's uncle / my great uncle (85 year old bachelor with Parkinson's). I currently buy and sell things online , started with mostly Mid Century Modern furniture , and now sell mostly vintage clothes. I'd like to have my online businesses to eventually find investmemt into the farm and other enterprises. I worked at a liquor store for a while so opening a liquor store or a brewery,or distillery or winery are all ideas. I also am 420 friendly and that's actually what first got me interested in agriculture ( although I always liked farming even when I was little) .. I'll preface this by saying I know this post will be filled with contradictions and what I'm looking for maybe can't exsist , but as close as I can get to this ... And I'll say I'm full of contradictions myself.... Ideally you're around my age or younger ( 18+obviously) looking to settle down and create a family. Jewish, maybe Israeli, maybe went to a Jewish day school , maybe speak Hebrew or Yiddish ( I don't but want my children to and want to continue to learn both myself) have a reverence for the old and tradition etc, but also like modern things like Netflix and art , and culture. Want to raise kids Jewish m I'm sort of a libertarian / Anarcho-communist, Zionist , honestly semi fluid politically. I like lots of types of music , I used to be a bit of a jam band type , Phish and what not , but also rap to jazz , classical , country , .. some favorites are Frank Zappa and Primus , bit really I love all types of music. Art , history , antiques , science, culture, tv/film , I have so many interests... I have add and dislexia , as well as clinical depression and anxiety , so I can be into something and then lose interest and then come back to it ..I'm always juggling lots of projects . Family is extremely important to me so hopefully you'll like my family and I'll like yours and they will like eachother. It's sort of difficult to pin down what I'm looking for , because I'm looking for an impossible thing. But maybe you're out there .
