I just answered a number of zero replies, and I thought for most of them there are a few questions I kept asking.
What is your goal here? was number one.
Then of course there's "what zone are you in, what is your average rainfall." most people do think to include that, but not all.
The latter could be handled by Google's location on your device scariness, but it's a more human touch to ask.
And the goals thing...well, it's always good to be asked.
I'm not saying a pop-up, but the next screen you get taken to that says "your thread is similar to..." could also ask with a form with fill-in boxes...I know this is a buttload of coding to manage, but I think it would be worth it.
Or, just include in that "your thread is similar to" page the words, "did you include in your question teh GOAL of what you want to accomplish?" and then the poster can click Edit.
And lastly I think this would be best if the program auto-detects that the post has a question in it (a question mark) so that it doesn't come up when you're posting an announcement of a course or something, just when it's a question.
If this has already been discussed please disregard, just a brainstorm. Thanks for all the work you do!!
