I had the Ah Ha moment the other day after listening to podcast 32 and then watching several of the Sepp Holzer and one Mollison video.

So I have decided that I want to take a permaculture design course.  I was going to do the Master Gardener thing but now it seems too restrictive to me.  I just can't see my self commiting volunteer time to projects that I think are counter productive.  Or recommending things that I don't really believe in.

Permies.com has made me a convert and I think that permaculture is the most bang for the buck that anyone can get - or give.

Anyway, I have compiled a list of reading material that I got off the permaculture institute website and I will read all that stuff first.  Then where to find a course?  Are some better than others?  i will be looking on the east coast.

Is two weeks the usual for certification?  That seems very short to me for a subject that is so complex.
