I am planing on using an old chest freezer, thought i would ask for any pointers before i dive into. I plan on cutting a dog door in the side, and have a pitched roof for snow shedding, mounted to the existing lid for easy clean out. pallet wood should make good lap siding as well.
Im just thinking, if this is so easy, and seems like just the perfect reuse, why havent i seen this before?!
ahhh yes, some nice rubber flappy things. mud flaps from a big truck! walk in freezers have the clear flaps as well. what to upcycle into a doggie door?
