Need an auger of a certain size?  You can make it. This is somewhat “deep DIY” but isn't beyond us homesteaders.

By the way, this guy is an amazing thinker/designer/doer…





As he says, because steel washers are available in various sizes, augers of different diameters can be homemade using his system.
