I have run across an opportunity that I can not take advantage of. I volunteer for Pines and Prairies Land trust (PPLT), in Bastrop, Texas, who has a site (~ 7 acres) for ~750/month (negotiable) which they want homesteaded and is intended as an example homesteading including permaculture principals for approximately 6 other possible sites. The reason for this offer from PPLT is simply to run in the black. The site has on it pecan as well as black walnut trees, there are dew berries as well as another wild berry I haven't identified, a 2 bedroom/1 bath ranch house with an old run down milking shed and is located inside a 750 acre leased (lease runs out in 2014) cattle working ranch which has several stock ponds that are fish-able.

I will gain nothing, with the exception of the satisfaction of being able to advance permaculture principals. Should this not be the place for this sort of thing please inform me as to where that place maybe and relocate this message there.

Can't .... do .... plaid .... So I did this tiny ad instead:
