We live in Central Oklahoma (near Guthrie).  My husband just bought a scythe and is learning to use and sharpen it.  Was wondering if there was experienced scythers near by to help and show him a couple things.

Great question Kristen. I am thinking about buying one but have not decided on which style. What style did your husband get?

He went with the European style from ScytheSupply.com. His main issue right now is sharpening it.  He has the book but having a hard time getting it sharp enough.  Which there is certainly a learning curve to peening.
