Lowline Angus (aka American Aberdeen) -- who has experience?

Does anybody here have experience with lowline angus(now called American Aberdeen cattle)? They appear to be the right size for my area and available grass and are very beefy. Looking to cross a Fullblood Aberdeen bull on some dexter cows.
