question regarding Russian "back to land/re-wilding" movement

I recall an old video of Bill Mollison doing a PDC, in which he mentioned a movement in Russia.  It was based on some scoundrel who met a lovely blonde way out in the wilderness... he wrote about how she lived a very traditional, very pre-Soviet... even pre-modern life, self sufficient and in harmony with nature.  He said there were books and communities following this way of life.  Would anyone know the name of the movement… I believe it was her name... but the only thing that comes to mind for me is Antonovka… so, I have an apple block!
