Welcome Howard!

Does your book cover geothermal energy and do you feel that it is a viable energy source? I heard about it over 10 years ago and have not seen much momentum toward using it here in the mountain west. Any information you can offer would be appreciated!

Hello and welcome Ross! Last Fall I wrote an article for Permaculture Design Magazine about applying permaculture principles to the grieving process. I was wondering if you cover "Zone 00" in your book and what your thoughts are on personal and social design?

Welcome Tao!

I work for a non-profit that employs teen youths during the summer months, much of the employment being youth corps where teens remove "noxious weeds" from many acres of land in the Boulder, CO area. Any suggestions about how we can think outside the box in this program and educate young people about alternative methods?

Thank you!

Hello and welcome Arthur,

Do you think that medicinal plants such as ayahuasca and ibogaine will ever be legal to use in the U.S.? And are there any native plants in the U.S. that can be used to help cure trauma and drug addiction?

Thank you!

I am new to permaculture, currently taking a design course. I live in CO at 8800 feet and am looking for some suggestions on what to do with the north side of my house. It's always very cold in that room. We lost 2 pines due to wind over the last few years which used to help with wind and some insulation. Does anyone have a suggestion of what to do around that part of the house? Trees take a while to grow, not to mention create a fire ladder to the house. Any ideas?
