I’ve been living on the central California coast For the past two years. There are a lot of wine barrels for sale all over the place at the different vineyards. They run about $40 each. One of the olive Orchards up here  uses the wine barrels to brine olives.  It’s a good option if you have a lot of product to ferment. It’s also non-plastic and  a reused container  with a hint  of the vintage for flavor.

I am looking to buy permaculture raised emu oil. I want good quality. Does anyone have a source or is anyone raising emu's in a permaculture system?

The property is located on Rain Dance Trail  in Crestone Colorado. You could get a satellite image from Google maps by putting in that name. The property gradually slopes to the west. There are no trees. The views are amazing.  people in that area are off grid. I'll continue to add more information to this thread.

I have two lots totaling about 7 acres for sale in beautiful Crestone Colorado. Crestone is known for its alternative building community. There are many types of homes from earth ships to Straw bale,  Adobe and many other building styles are allowed and encouraged. In fact the community would rather have you build something alternative to the "standard "building styles of our day .  I'm asking $5000 for each lot. I have two lots for sale. This would be off grid living. There's a lot to do and see in this area. Lots are relatively flat with grand Vistas of the Sangre de Christo mountains.  It's a wonderful place for year round solar energy as well.
