I wanted to save dragon tongue bean seeds but the pods never dried enough. There are some pods that have plumped up, i pulled all the plants up and brought them inside if. I take all the immature beans off and hang the plants with one or two beans on each that are plump pods will they dry and have viable seeds? Or are the seeds just to immature, How plump would they have to be to mature fully, or is it just not worth the effort this year? thanks.

What is the difference between single ferment and double ferment? Is there a big taste difference?

I am interested in making hard cider with wild yeast. However, people have told me that i might get apple cider vinegar instead. Is there a way to discourage it from becoming apple cider vinegar? Would it work if i peeled apples and juiced the flesh than readded some peels to the juice set aside with airlock on top and just wait for 5 days?

also should i start with the pruning from top of the tree and work my way down or what?

So my tomatillo plants are huge but have a bug that eats up there leaves i have seen really small black beetles that jump or fly and a few red mites the leaves also have yellowing along the vains i was thinking a nitrogen deficiency but the plants are huge. Also the beans have an issue with getting brown spots that are kinda bulseye patern maybe bacterial or fungal disease? The tomato has leaves that are also yellowing likee tomatillo leaves but also have like a deformed leave. Here are some pictures. So any help with identifying the specific issues will be highly appreciated thanks.

does anyone have a homemade duckling starter and homemade adult duck feed recipe? I would like to avoid gmo preferably so that means no corn or soy. If no homemade recipes any commercial brands recommended?

Hi I want to try growing einkorn, spelt, or emmer wheat. I have never grown wheat before so its completely new. I would really like to grow einkorn and I have einkorn berries from jovial so I am trying to sprout them to see if they are viable. If they are viable how should I grow, harvest, and dehull them so I can eat it? Also What is naked einkorn is it the same as einkorn but without a hull, or are their more differences that just being without a hull? How much easier is it to skip the dehulling process? Does anyone know any source of naked einkorn, and also spelt and emmer seed?
