I have lots of hazelnut bushes on our land and I harvest them early before the squirrels can get them. Do you have any idea what I might plant beneath them for more of a food forest combination? They do tend to create a bit if shade.
Ducks make a lot of mess out of their ponds. Have you heard of any systems where the refuse water from ducks could somehow be gravity fed into a garden? I'm trying to plan for as little work as is possible as we get older.
