David,

Welcome and a quick thanks for “Turned Earth (Jack Brocolli Book 1).  Great fun, high spirited hijinks and whatnot.  Really enjoyed it, although I did need to look up a few more gardening and plant related references.  Looking forward to any further adventures.

Oh, and I really enjoyed all the actual gardening books also.

Neat.  I will have to check this out.  I have some serious back issues, so it may not work for me, but my son has expressed interest in building his own house.  Thanks!

Following!

What a neat way to do this!  I have been looking to expand upon my humanure skills, and this thread has some great ideas.

You sir, are truly an af-feces-cianado of poo.

Thanks for your service to humanity.

Greetings,

I think some of the others have hit on my concerns also.

I did look at the Kickstarter page when it was brought up in the daily-ish, but was a bit confused about what would be different from other productions (Justin), and what some of the terms meant.

What is a “micro course,” for example?  A trailer type thing, or enough for an actual “course?”

A big question for me would be the content/subjects of the main courses, and, frankly, the related costs for multiple courses, each of which could be up to $200.

In a short period, that adds up to a big pile of cash that I would perhaps rather save to spend on cover crops and self-propelled soil conditioners (Cows, sheep, and chickens.)

Hope this helps somewhat.

Really like the idea; just not sure of the expense.

Good luck with your cover crops.

I cannot answer your question, but I recently purchased some seed from https://www.greencoverseed.com/   and was very pleased with the service.

Personal and quick responses to my questions, and the online SmartMix thingy is great fun, and a pretty good time suck, for seeing suggestions for your location.

Came across this thread while cruising the site.
Per Dan, from above, I went to greencoverseed.com

Wow!  What a fun place to play with the mix generator and waste a bit of time.

Thanks!

Greetings,

Just a couple of quick questions, as I have a laundry to landscape system with a surge water barrel.  It works very well for my use, and have been following this but am confused about the quantity of water you are producing.

So...

How much water and from what sources?

Is there a reason you are looking to (Not trying to be a jerk, but just interested.) make this a big project, vs. something smaller scale and easier to maintain?

Why do you want to filter out the skin flakes, etc?  They will break down and part of the beauty of using greywater, is not needing to filter and clean it.

Have you looked through any of the greywater book for plans and schematics?
