A little about me……

First of all, hello!
I am a 33-year-old, straight, single Scottish lady looking for a special someone to settle down with for love ( emotional spiritual and physical), lasting adventures, home, and family

I currently work in the charitable sector helping young people fufill their potential  while saving the pennies to buy a woodland, create a Home and start a family.

I am new to the term permie, but have lived that was since I was a child until recently (while saving /working). I thrive in situations others would deem basic, I can make almost anywhere comfie, and take my stove everywhere with me - even to the town where I currently / temporarily am!

I am a hard working, soft hearted, spiritual, caring, enthusiastic and driven lady. I am happy in my own company, I love the outdoors and animals, don't drink except socially on Hogmanay etc,  and my only vice is the soft spot I have for animals! I seem to gather them to me (wild and domestic)
As for physicality, I am a typical Islander -  I am 5 foot 11, The right amount of curvy, ( i'm a firm believer are that  feminine curves are beautiful) I'm naturally coppery blonde but I discovered Henna years ago and have stuck with brunette for a while.
I hope to find my soulmate, as cliched as it sounds, but I've always believed that the man for me is out there, and it's my job to try and make it possible to be found it would be lovely to find someone with a kind and honest heart, work ethic, wicked sense of humour and eyes that sparkle. I would love nothing more than to feel little, so tall gentleman would always make me smile

It sounds beautiful (your home), a lot for you to care for but its amazing to hear of your love for it!
The island where I am from is very hard to buy land, sadly it is very expensive due to the tourist trade, however I know the piece of land I am meant to look after is out there waiting for me somewhere, I just have got to find it and the people who will benefit from it too
I loved being able to spend lots of time in Finland a few years ago, truly a magical place, and from my readings today it seems an excellent place to farm!
If you ever need help when you return home after you graduate I'd be more than happy to help!
I'm working in the UK at the moment for a young persons charity (saving money) and hope to in the future be able to help as many people as possible

I agree, I'm working hard at the moment to secure funding for land, expecting to be able to purchase in the next 12 months and hoping to be able to subdivide it to allow a small community to develop. I'm very keen on exploring traditional farming (livestock, husbandry, and native arboriculture) and building methods to allow for the study of sustainable housing (ie full turn-key price of under 50k) and hope to meet and exchange with similar minds in our lovely 'north' it often is a lonely journey learning it by yourself!
