Very true, I have all of my favorite vegetables and herbs planted on the deck right outside from my kitchen and its wonderfully convenient. I tend to keep shortlived and frequently harvested one up on the deck, and long wait one time harvests in some raised beds in my backyard.

When you see roadkill and think "hmmmm..... I bet I could compost that".

There seems to be an usually high amount of roadkill near where I live, lots of small critters like opossum, squirrel, and birds. I would like to try composting the roadkill instead of just having the bodies to to waste. I did some research and found some cities compost dead deer with great success. Has anyone ever tried composting small animals? Would love to hear about it.

Love this, Im starting up a small food forest in my grandmas double lot backyard. These are so helpful.

Got one of those here at my Grandmas house! Think its just here for decoration but I would like to try to use it.
