I have contacted csa link previously. Not much shows up for this area. I'll keep looking. There are a lot of farms here, but many have been sold as well.

Jackson county FL here. Looking to buy eggs, fresh milk, beef and possibly pork from a local permie. Anyone close by that could sell any of these things?

I would love to visit and learn. I'm probably not the candidate you're looking for, but to befriend and learn from you would be awesome. I live close to the KY line in middle TN. My youngest child is going off to college next year. For years I've been dreaming of having a little place in the country close to an area where I could open a bakery coffee shop. Or a bed and breakfast that includes a bakery coffee shop.
I am very much into organic and growing herbs and veggies. I do know how to can. I have had large gardens before. But, there is so much I need to learn and would like to learn. Sounds like you have that knowledge. Also, I'm looking to move out of this expensive county in May, when my son graduates. So I've been looking at various areas I could find a modest place to rent that would allow a garden. You'd probably have knowledge about what is available on your side of the border.

I love this thread. I've also been thinking of making some bohemian skirts and skirt pants from items found at thrift stores. I hate the way store bought clothes fit. Too big here, too tight there, and I'm no longer attractive in low waisted clothing. I will keep following this thread for further ideas and pics. I'll take a pic of the one I'd like to try and post it as well.

I looked for a grange in tn and couldn't find one. Loved the idea.

Hi. I'm a newbie to this site. I have entertained visiting the farm and the place next to it, but not sure I'd fit in with everyone. Currently living in Sumner county and hoping to find an opportunity to find a bit of property in Trousdale county or somewhere close by with like minded people. I'd like to know more about the farm and your experiences. I've read everything on their website.

I live in middle Tn and have been wanting a piece of land to live and grow my organic veggies. I have been looking and talking about this MY WHOLE LIFE, and just yesterday my oldest son told me to look into IC's and Permaculture. Would love to find a place in northern Tennessee, between Hartsville and Pickett county.
Cannot believe it took me so long to find out that there is a whole group of people here doing what I've dreamed of my whole life. Now I'm going to look for like minded people in my area.
