Yo I've personally grown food truck gardens... mechanic all my equipment.
All on a shoe-string budget... I just read this comment about sustainable but not profiting from growing?
I'm only 38 but I grow you name it... arugula... dill... brassicas... mint... many over the years.

To be sustainable you have to be economically sustainable to even purchase yet maintain land.
10-4 over and out good help is hard to find... buy a tractor with your own money...build a greenhouse.
The hipster romantic vibe  is strong on the west coast especially.

If anyone who is interested in learning water chemistry/compost tea/soil building/aquaculture

My name is Aaron... and I'm originally from South Louisiana (Cajun) but I've been exploring and working the West Coast for about 8 years now.  A few years ago I sold my small organic farm in Louisiana and acquired a spot in North California just south of Ashland, Oregon.  I've been farming and collecting weird plants/seeds, making earthship type structures, and exploring the vast mountains in search of cool rocks...wildlife...experiences.

Hello fellow Permies and Plant Nerds!

I'm originally from Louisiana - Mom is from upstate NY- but I've been working and traveling the West Coast (Seattle to Humboldt) for about 6 years now and currently I'm setting up a small Eco-campground and farm in Southern Oregon.

I like to take road trips pretty often and I'm pretty open to any hiking, camping, cooking, etc.  I collect seeds and plants, do weird mechanic work and art. You can even search me in insta Aaron Fromenthal for a heap of funny content.

It would be sweet to find a rad female to travel/share experiences with.  It looks like I'm setting roots in South Oregon but I'll be traveling from the Bay Area to Seattle on occasions.  Hopefully I find a good catch along the way!  Thanks for looking!
