I'm Sara, recently purchased 120 acres of property with my partner in Cheboygan, Michigan.  It's gorgeous, secluded, 15 minutes from Walmart and Mackinaw Island. We have trails and 3 ponds on the property. We have a camper that was recently renovated and an insulated shipping container that serves as a bunkhouse (no bathroom in the shipping container yet). We have worked really hard to pick the perfect property.

Right now we are back & forth from Allen Park, and are in search of a family, or some nice individual(s), who would be interested in possibly renting these units or leveraging the property for gatherings, events, etc. There is potential for long term arrangements / building / selling.  We have thought of homesteading, tiny house community, campgrounds and misc. events including medicine circles, drum circles, and the like.  If this interests you and you would like more details, feel free to reach out at sriser@campdarling.com or if you have any ideas, feel free to share! We have electric hook up, septic, and a well. The camper has a flushing toilet and shower, AC, full kitchen as well as a new floor and roof we just did last year. We are back & forth from Allen Park, and really want a family or some nice individuals who would be interested in renting these units with potential for long term arrangements / building / selling. We are very open to all sorts of options that include leveraging the property. Hi! My name is Sara, I'm a longtime permie.

My partner & I recently opened a rustic campground on our 120 acre property located just 5 miles from the Mackinaw Bridge in northern Michigan.
We have put together 3 private, rustic campsites that are situated deep in the forest trails on our property. Each one has its own portable toilet. Disposable bags are available for purchase. (1$/each)

We have groomed trails to explore, a beautiful pond to view ( and you are welcome to bring kayaks or canoes!), tons of wildlife! You may be woken up by the sounds of cranes hanging around our ponds.

Family friendly & we welcome pets on leashes!
We have a well available for water - we do not consider it "potable" so please be prepared to filter it yourself for drinking.
We have a strict pack it out / leave no trace policy. Please help us keep our land beautiful by packing out your trash/waste. :)
