Hi! My name is Sara, I'm a longtime permie.
My partner & I recently opened a rustic campground on our 120 acre property located just 5 miles from the Mackinaw Bridge in northern Michigan.
We have put together 3 private, rustic campsites that are situated deep in the forest trails on our property. Each one has its own portable toilet. Disposable bags are available for purchase. (1$/each)
We have groomed trails to explore, a beautiful pond to view ( and you are welcome to bring kayaks or canoes!), tons of wildlife! You may be woken up by the sounds of cranes hanging around our ponds.
Family friendly & we welcome pets on leashes!
We have a well available for water - we do not consider it "potable" so please be prepared to filter it yourself for drinking.
We have a strict pack it out / leave no trace policy. Please help us keep our land beautiful by packing out your trash/waste. :)
