Also, we found a hay farm on Grier Creek road in Oconee county (I think) it is sectioning off essentially organic land that would make for perfect mini farms or homesteads. Let's check it out together. We could be independent neighbors and build natural homes cooperatively.

Hi there, my family is also looking for a permie community and a home and land in the upstate SC or across the line in GA. We are selling our homestead in Brevard to go down over the mountains and get out of the mountain winters and expensive tourist town.

My husband is a blacksmith and needs a workshop with plenty of power. He has a background in forestry and outdoor Ed.

I like to manage food forests and am eager to start growing mushrooms.

We have a three year old who likes to eat chickweed!

My family has a homestead in Marshall, NC. I lived there off grid for a few years. There is a great community of homesteaders with a Facebook group called 'Conscious homesteaders of madco" I think.

Idk what gerthood is, but I'm visiting with relatives in Central Florida rural just south of Ocala national Forest. It is a nice area. We are also looking to find suitable homestead land / home here. The mountains are too cold and cloudy for our liking now that were getting older. We just visited Alexander springs nearby and it is a beautiful clearwater spring and beach.
