We are still waiting on some final info from Kickstarter and so the goodies have not yet been distributed.  You can find more info out about this in the support forum.

Hello for Auburn and thank you for taking the time to read this long post…

I am first time poster, and have been lost to the world of permie. I come from a background in construction and hold a degree in Building Science. I have one failed season of gardening experience. The lot is heavily wooded and the sun seems to hide most of the day from my small raised bed.

My wife and I bought our 'forever home' and are in the process of figuring out the lot. She has come along way and will let me “mold” the yard to benefit us in the long run.  At the moment it has random landscaping all over the place and a random hill built to cover a failed DIY storm shelter that stays full of water.

I have started reading the Permaculture Manual and plan on taking a PDC in the near future.

Other questions are a matter of resources...  particular threads or other resources to get me started on understanding the basics and help start my journey.

I am glad to have found the thread. I am in Auburn and beginning my journey into permaculture on a wooded lot in a older neighborhood.
