i recently tried to change my email on 1/19/2023, and i accidentally sent a request to change the email to the wrong email address if the email account "halkin@protonmail.com" becomes the new email then THIS IS NOT ME, JENKIN SCHIBEL, and is actually someone else who has gained access to my account.
this is a note so that the permies staff can help me dispute should the other actor gain access to my permies.com account

differences between different kinds of insulation

Hi everyone. Im currently looking into building myself a rocket oven, and having little to no experience with building materials, this is a new realm to me.

I was looking into getting some insulation for building my rocket oven, and grabbed some high temp mineral wool for insulating the barrels, and for building the riser, (the stuff with the pink panther on the bag). But then i started looking around and saw people talking about stuff and i saw "rock wool", "ceramic wool", "mineral wool", "Super wool", etc. And i was wondering if anyone could tell me what the differences are between all these materials if in fact there are any?

the most i have been able to distill is the fact that Super wool seems to be fairly different from the rest of them, and i am starting to wonder if i should have bought some of that instead.

Wow this is super cool. I am currently looking at building a rocket oven myself, and based on what little i know i thought i had to build a riser out of firebrick. But looking at your design, this does not seem to be the case. What materials is both the riser and the base of the riser made out of? is the riser just rock wool insulation wrapped up in some metal tubing?

I was referring to the big orange "order Here" button on this forum posting. The way i found this post was through an ad that i received as a part of the dailyish email from within the last few days. So I do not believe you missed any steps in assessing my issue. Again thanks for the quick response.

i clicked on the button to see what this promo was all about, it looks very interesting. However, there a few things that have me worried. The link on the big orange button points to power.duke1234.com when you go to just duke1234.com it redirects you to some random relaxing aquarium video. when you go to power.duke1234.com, it takes you to a webpage where the top says Harris1234.com, but the site seems to be using the kartra.com CMS solution (this doesn't bother me, but re-directs in general don't make me feel safe). Also the website does not look very trustworthy, it looks like a scam. finally when on the re-directed Kartra site, i click on the button that says the video is sold for $17, but when i click on it, i end up in a checkout screen that says $37. Can someone verify for me that this website it not actually out to take my credit card information and sell it to some creepy guy on the otherside of the world?
