Korean Natural Farming is the technique of capturing and multiplying IMO (indigenous micro organisms). I've made this Jadam 3x now and experienced great results, flourishing beyond expectations.
This is simplest way to start the KNF technique. All you need is 5 gallon bucket, 4 gallons of water 15 grams of sea salt, 3 cooked potatoes and 2 handfuls of leaf moldy soil and 36 hours of brewing. But you must apply this "fertilizer" speedily, it doesn't last long just in the bucket. If you make the KNF IMO that can be stored for many months and awakened before applying. KNF says "Study nature, copy nature". All the systems for abundance in KNF are formulated to be made and applied by the poorest farmer with the least resources, so anyone can use them. Properly applied these systems usually double output, amp up drought resistance/water retention, remove the need for other fertilizers, tilling, or pesticides. Once in place the soil will continue to improve as you have introduced a very resilient bio-diverse system which creates more abundance year after year. The full compliment of KNF recipes gives you an arsenal of boosters. They can be applied to each of the growth stages, optimizing output, and used to combat any issues which may arise. Many resources are free online, the best sources are from Master Cho the creator of this system. His English skills are some what of an impediment, so direct students of his tend to be the easiest source to study. naturalfarminghawaii.net or  https://www.biomei.solutions/ are 2 of many good sources.

Every one says "Most of your heat is going straight up" so why not capture some that "lost heat"?
I have wood stove in a cement floor cinder block shop in CT. Once it gets cold, it's hard to heat up. I've looked at many DIY heat exchangers videos. Here is a good one https://youtu.be/iGZWx0gwRCo?si=HoxRmTWlJLq94LTP
In spite of many years of welding/fabricating I opted for a bolt it together fix. https://youtu.be/c2-XwqNiVL8?si=WOmTK_6LXs9SkA7q This works pretty well. But it is hard to prevent smoke leaks, red permatex failed, went to a higher rated sealant.  I bought 3 magnetic temperature gauges and can read the surface temp below and above this flue diversion so I can see what kind of heat is coming off the pipe. I have plans to build an RMH which would store heat in a work bench, giving me nice warm hands when the gloves are off doing fine work.

Cold water is great! But I didn't always feel this way. Cold hands and feet became my bane in my 50's. Then I tried Wim Hof, that was 3 years ago. I did breathing 2x a day, cold shower in the mornings. I was already meditating, so I didn't use Wim's meditations, but I had the 3 pillars of the Wim Hof Method. He says the minimum to get a full body effect is 2 minute breathe hold and 3 minutes in 60F or less cold water.
This time of year in Connecticut my water is probably in the 40F range, cold enough to have a numbing effect. I always splash cold water on my face, as the triggers the "Divers Response" slowing your breathing rate automatically. This requires a mindset. It helps to remember that pound for pound your mitochondria are more powerful than the sun, they generate more heat.
Being a minimalist, I strive to do just what needs to be done to achieve the desired effect. This why I like the Zach Bush MD 4 minute workout, which triggers spike in nitric oxide, equivalent to a 30 minute routine.
Now a days I'm doing the breathing once a day, AM cold shower, intermittent fasting ( 14 hour daily fast, no breakfast ), 4 minute workout 2x and multiple meditations.
Bravo to you on your cold water journey, cheers to great success!

Will the Mycelium stabilize the sawdust, and reduce the air circulation? How do you achieve stasis? What if the Mycelium proceeds to eat away the door skin?

This Mobile Dimensions Saw is so amazingly superior to all the other mill types, it is mind blowing. Where did you get this one? How much? Are these available in the North Eastern US? Are there any other manufacturers making a similar saw? Maintenance on the saw, is it very involved? Blade inserts expensive? Thank you for sharing your work and inspiring others to follow. Every where I look I see trees downed and rotting away, this appears to be the tool to recapture some of that bounty.

Could you use CLO2 for sterilization instead of steam? Should be much faster and easier to get better results. It is the gold standard for water treatment, food processing, even used for Anthrax removal.
