Hello everyone,
Yucca grows here in Ohio zone 6 and I have a couple plants. I am interested in making my own wettable yucca powder from them. Is this possible?
Thank you

Hello,
The upright arborvitae trees are mine. If I prune the tops, can I create a bushy hedge like the one on the neighboring property. I cant ask the owner because they are in the hospital with bone cancer 😞.

Thank you.

I know Ohio is a long way away from Texas but there has been success growing those types of fruits in Ohio and it is zone 6. Due to somewhat frequent late frosts, i cannot tell you if fruit production is consistent.
I am also in Ohio, zone 6. I have two pluots and an aprium but all are too young to produce. One of my pluots tried to produce last year but I removed the fruit due to the tree being newly planted.

Not sure why you would have problems growing them in Texas? I hope you have better luck in the coming years.

Hello,
I have a couple of plum trees that just started producing two years ago. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, the bugs get to the fruit and kill it before it matures. Last year, while my red variety of plums were still green, something pierced the tops of each little plum right on the top of the plum just a few MM from the stem. Every single plum dropped to the ground. I didn't get one.

I have heard that neem oil is great for fruit trees. However, can I mix it with anything to amp up my defenses a bit? It is disheartening to wait four years for a tree to produce only to have two crops in a row damaged. I also have pluots and plumcots but they havent started producing yet and I am afraid when they do, I will have the same problem.

Help!

Thank you,
Joy

Hello,

I have some canning jars, mostly quarts, that have developed a cloudy haze to them. See photos.
I do not use hard water. It is not mineral deposits.
I have washed them multiple times. It seems to be on the inside.
Any ideas what is causing it and how to remove it?
I can various things. The jar shown had potatoes in it.
Thank you.
