This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum. Completing this BB is part of getting the wood badge in tool care.

Storing things under a roof is one way to keep tools out of the elements. So, for this BB, you will augment a roof to create more storage space!

The requirement for this BB is to augment an existing roof to create at least 100 square feet of dry storage space.

To get certified for this BB, post pictures or a 2-minute video that demonstrates the following:

- before of roof
- progress of roof being augmented
- after of augmented roof with obviously at least 100 square feet of dry storage space

Could someone please specify what "augmenting a roof" is? Does that mean installing a gable or turning the attic into usable storage?

I think it means making the roof larger so that you can store more things under it. Like adding a lean-to to the side of a building.
