This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the wood badge in tool care.

Tools need to be kept in a safe dry place for them to last longer, and sometimes one needs access to multiple tools at multiple locations on a property. So, a portable tool shed is one way to keep tools safe, in one place, and accessible at various locations.

The requirement for this BB is to build a small, portable tool shed with the following features:
 - on skids or on wheels
 - ability to lock up all tools
 - minimum interior size:  6 feet by 10 feet
 - interior height at least 7 feet
 - one end needs a workbench 6x3
 - a hefty shelf above workbench

To get certified for this BB, post pictures or a 2-minute video that demonstrates the following:

  - materials and tools being used to create the tool shed
  - progress of the tool shed being built
  - completed tool shed
  - demonstrates the tool shed is obviously at least 6 feet by 10 feet inside and at least 7 feet tall inside
  - demonstrates the tool shed is on skids or on wheels
  - demonstrates there is a workbench in the tool shed that is at least 6 feet by 3 feet in area
  - demonstrates there is a hefty shelf above the workbench
