This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the
PEP curriculum. Completing this BB is part of getting the wood badge in
tool care.
Hand tools are useful for so many different tasks, and they need to be kept in top condition to get the best work out of them. So, for this BB you will sharpen at least two dozen hand tools!
The requirement for this BB is sharpen at least two dozen hand tools, which includes at least 3 saw blades.
To get certified for this BB, post photos or a two minute video of:
- close up of the dull edge of each hand tool
- mid-process with all sharpening equipment used for each hand tool
- close up of each of the sharpened hand tool
- include at least three saw blades and sharpen a total of twenty-four hand tools
