This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the wood badge in Electricity.

In this Badge Bit, you will install a main breaker panel for a house or other large structure.  This is not a sub panel.  This BB also includes the meter pedestal, ground rods and wiring.  It can be a freestanding or attached meter.

Here's a video of an installation:

Minimum requirements to get this BB
  - Install meter pedestal, main panel, ground rods and wires between them
  - Does not include running service wires to the meter pedestal

To show you've completed this Badge Bit, provide proof of the following as pics or video (less than two minutes):
  - the area where the pedestal will go
  - the pedestal installed
  - the panel installed
  - the wires run to the panel
  - the ground rods and their wires in the ground
  - the connections made for ground wire and supply conductors in the panel

F is for finger. Can you stick your finger in your nose? Doesn't that feel nice? Now try this tiny ad:
