This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the iron badge in Animal Care.

For this Badge Bit, you will breed and nurture hogs!

(site: Pinterest.com)

To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
 - all general requirements stated for the Animal Care Iron Badge
 - all requirements in the Animal Care Iron Badge specified under the section "Provide proof that you are breeding and nurturing 12 animal species"
 - Prove you are nurturing your hogs
     - Minimum of two dozen hogs from birth to six months old
     - Ensure wallow facilities for the 12 hottest days of the year

To show you've completed this Badge Bit, you must provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 mins):
- photo essay about nurturing the hogs
- parasite checks throughout the season
- proof of pampering the hogs that approaches level 7

If you live in a cold climate and on the grid, incandescent light can use less energy than LED. Tiny ad:
