Amy K. Fewell is a homesteader, entrepreneur, author, podcaster, and blogger. She lives on her 6-acre homestead in Virginia where she raises her 3 children. They currently raise heritage breed chickens, and rabbits, and plan to expand their homestead to include a milk cow and sustainable meat choices.  

Amy is the Founder of the Homesteaders of America organization and annual events, where 5,000+ homesteaders come to learn about this lifestyle at events throughout the year. She is the author of two books—The Homesteader's Herbal Companion, and The Homesteader's Herbal Chicken Keeping Handbook. She is the podcast host of her personal podcast called Choosing Simple, as well as the Homesteaders of America podcast.
