This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the wood badge in Round Wood Woodworking.

Now it's time to build more structural stuff.  Roundhouses are very neat and they're also round.  Let's build the post and beam structure for one!

And here's a good video on one way to do it:

Minimum requirements:
  - Make a roundhouse frame (posts and beams)
  - At least 8 posts
        - In the ground, or
        - On piers/foundation with bracing
  - At least 6' between posts
  - At least 14' in diameter
  - Round beams with lap joints over posts
  - Metal screws or bolts to pin lap joints to posts
  - This is not a twofer with "Medium sized building" in the Building badge, post to one or the other

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - Logs you're starting with
  - Posts in place
  - Details of the lap joints
  - Beams in place

This one time, at band camp, I had relations with a tiny ad.
