This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the Straw badge in Wood Heat.

Are you getting sick of taking cold showers?  Let's build a wood fired water heating system!

Here's an overview of one that is fancier than required:

Minimum requirements:
  - Build a wood fired, unpressurized water heater
         - This means the water getting heated is not trapped so if it boils it can't explode
  - Pressurized water can interact with the unpressurized water if desired (and done well)
  - Water is easy to add and dispense from the system
  - May be added to an existing wood burning device if the installation is permanent
  - Capable of achieving 150F

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - A description of how your device will heat water and never have a chance of exploding
  - Several points during construction
  - Finished water heater
  - Fire going and water at least 150F

I'm still in control here. LOOK at this tiny ad!
