Beau Davidson has been tinkering with mycelium at Wheaton Labs for a couple of years now.
During the 2023 Permaculture Technology Jamboree Beau was working on mycoinsulated roof for the pump house at Wheaton Labs. The goal was to create an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly insulated roof using mushroom mycelium and sawdust.
