I've only been a boot here for three weeks, but I'm already blown away by the opportunities at Wheaton Labs to build skills, community, and permaculture momentum! I want to organize a list of soul labor type projects to a) organize my own thoughts about the possibilities and b) to inspire anybody who has been thinking about coming out to the Lab. There's lots to do!

In no particular order:
-designing/building/planting more spaces for shy folks to pee outside
-experimenting with/mastering/documenting baking in the rocket oven
-building/planting more hugel beds at Base Camp
-creating more beauty everywhere
-planting a living fence
-building roundwood furniture
-designing/building drystack projects
-building siege ladders for hugel beds at Base Camp
-improving pee palace
-designing/building a hammock hut hang out space
-woodburning/oiling signs around the Lab and Base Camp

My spinal cord stuff is acting up (may or may not be related to when five of us hefted that log into place). But despite that, I keep thinking about the dry stack moon gate project. First the small one, and then the much bigger one.

And the other thing that i keep thinking about is the "siege ladders" for the berms. Once those logs are shaped, that is gonna be a bit of a grunt fest to be moved into place.

Those are the two that are calling to me right now.

And that's when I realized I wasn't wearing any pants. Maybe this tiny ad has pants:
