What's really funny is when I was thinking of the title, I thought "hm... which would get the most clicks?  A sweater with a chicken or a chicken with a sweater?  I'll make the title ambiguous but slightly in favour of the latter... that will get them clicking."

I thought the sweater was so nifty, I wanted to share it with as many people as possible.

(by the way, if someone wanted to knit that sweater in my size, I would be interested in negotiating a deal with you.  Maybe I could pay with an excessive amount of handspun yarn?  Send me a PM if you're interested)

I only thought of this New Yorker classic cartoon. A sweater made of chickens would be very warm!

Awesome thread for catching attention.  Chicken feathers glued to a sweater would be my limit with creating clothes.  It would probably match well with the dog hair my clothes somehow attract...that could be a pretty warm combination for this cold weather!

Nostalgia wave!!!

My grandmother knitted me a similar sweater when I was a kid - probably around 8. Instead of chickens, it had turtles.

(I have actually knitted a chicken sweater, for a friend who ran a farm rescue and had a chicken with almost no feathers. Poor little thing was cold, I know how to knit, ta-da. It was so cute it was painful)

I wish! I never think of photos til it's too late. It was super cute though (the chicken, the sweater was not memorable).
