I think it is worth bringing this discussion out from behind the curtains, because I think it has potential to help with improving the rate of brain infection with permaculture.

As an author of many wiki pages in the PEP stuff, I have been powerfully keen to include an "OR a two-minute video of you doing the above" in as many wiki pages as possible that I make. I include the "OR" so that less electronically inclined people still have the option to post pictures and add words to demonstrate understanding and competency, instead of requiring everyone to post videos.

I am keen to have videos submitted for as many of the BB's as possible, because I think that video creation and posting will increase the clout that permaculture and homesteading has on the Internet. Because the making of videos gets people to do the following: make a channel, show to others what they're doing, and starts to raise people's interest into "why are all these people doing these things? I see so many people doing it." What I am trying to do with the inclusion of "OR a two-minute video of you doing the above" in many of the PEP wiki pages I have made is to sneakily try to improve the online presence of permaculture and homesteading.

Also, I find that videos are helpful for infecting brains at the lower levels on the Wheaton Eco Scale, since from my personal experience, it was the videos that first got me hooked on permaculture and helped develop my early understanding.

I would like to add "OR a two-minute video of you doing the above" to more PEP wiki pages.

I'm totally behind that.  I love the "OR" aspect of it.  While I can take video of changing out a light switch or some other task, editing it and posting it is much harder than just changing the light switch (for me).  So I love having video as an option.
