I have a ton of young willows, silver maples, elms, black locusts, and mulberries that I plan to employee a similar regimen with next year.
I've read locusts and mulberries in particular are near complete feeds for rabbits and the
trees are ridiculously vigorous. Mulberry in particular is near impossible to kill and produces an abundance of shoots after coppicing/pollarding.
