This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEA curriculum. Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Metalworking.

In this Badge Bit you will make a tool to make a spoon.  Let's make a spoon carving knife from an old box end wrench.  Using a dremel or other tool, you grind away at the inside and outside of the loop end until it forms a knife.

Going from this:

To this (like #1, 2 or 4, only it's one piece of metal):

Minimum requirements:
  - Make a spoon carving knife from a box end wrench

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 mins):
  - Wrench you're starting with
  - Project underway with the tools you're using
  - Finished knife

I needed to make a spoon for Christmas but I don't have a hook knife.  Saw this BB and decided to give it a shot.  It worked!  If I were to make one all over again, I'd use a bigger wrench so it would carve a broader curve.  I'd also take more metal off the outside of the wrench so it has a sharper bevel.
