BRK Day 76

That rain came yesterday for us and soaked the new mulch on Alterton Abbey westside Hugel Kulture Beds!  I did chop and drop back at the Fisher Price House; I found alot of food plants on the backside of the east facing hugels by the Fisher Price hoiuse....and peas are coming up everywhere!

BRK Day 77

Yesterday saw a few springles after rain the day before....did some more chop and drop at the Fischer Price House  -and we planted all the new west side berms at Alerton Abbey.

Three sisters mainly with many other seeds added to fill in the growing spaces.

BRK Day 78

Good day yesterday, did some junk pole fence and gathered some game camera photos. After Boot Project labor time, we got out the microscope to verify that our compost tea was viable (which it is), and watched Sepp's Desert or Paradise?

BRK Day 79

Saturday, hmmmm, well now.....did a little nest labor, baked some energy snacks that suspiciously look like cookies, and tried to create a simple head mount for a cell phone (not so easy to make a USABLE headmount contrary to all the youtubes out there).

BRK Day 80

The supporters of my efforts On Narrow Pond know that Sunday is when things happen there and today is the day I provide them with updates  -for the rest of you, here is a test video of my pre- alpha head mount for a cell phone.

Here I find a way to obtain an high number of dandelion seeds quickly:

hmmm....now I wonder how I'm gonna use all those dandelion seeds???   well, that'd be for my material supporters to find out :)    -support On Narrow Pond via paypal orin.noch at gmail or through librepay and you'll see things more interesting than dandelion seeds!

BRK Day 82

Did junk pole collection yesterday until lunch time and then planted more tomatoes (chop N drop to removed competition first). I'm glad Josiah did tomato starters so we'd get tomatoes much earily (my tomatoes On Narrow Pond are much smaller but atleast they aren't new seed in the ground).

BRK Day 83
Unloaded the junk poles we collected yesterday morning and continued putting up the fence. Then I planted some tomatoes while chopping and dropping spaces for the tomatoes. Later, Fred and me went to the river to fill Judith up and a 300 gallon tank on top of her; we need to get moisture into the new hugels we built at Alterton Abbey.

I took pictures but there are too many landmarks so two of the pictures are earlier in the year pictures I haven't posted yet.

BRK Day 84

Welcome Simon; his first day of full work and he survived just fine (he may have another opinion:) )

let's see.....yep, junk pole fence made progess yesterday, I did my first few minutes of road shaping with the tractor before lunch, and in the afternoon, did a little edge removal from the large community desktop in the library.
